Committed to Sustainability
At Ohana Car Wash, we’re committed to sustainability and reducing our environmental impact. By choosing us, you’re supporting a business that cares about the planet and its future.

At Ohana Car Wash, we’re dedicated to reducing our environmental footprint and promoting eco-friendliness in everything we do. We believe that taking care of our planet is essential, and we’re committed to making a positive impact.
Green Chemicals: We use eco-friendly and biodegradable chemicals in our cleaning, foaming, washing, waxing, and drying processes. Our chemicals are safe for the environment and won’t harm nature. By choosing Ohana Car Wash, you’re helping to preserve our planet.
Green Electric Energy: We use Green Electric Energy and we are planning to install solar panels on our building and provide electric car chargers by Fall of 2025. This will help us reduce our reliance on non-renewable energy sources and lower our carbon footprint. We also make use of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) wherever feasible to reduce electricity consumption.
Water Reclaim System: Our state-of-the-art water treatment system allows us to recycle over 80% of the water we use. This means we use only about 14 gallons of fresh water per car, which is less than most washing machines. By choosing Ohana Car Wash, you’re helping to conserve this precious resource.
Noise Control: We’ve extended our tunnel walls to minimize excess noise and create a quieter atmosphere for our customers. We believe that reducing noise pollution is important for our community and the environment. We’re also planting a total of 25 new trees on our site!
At Ohana Car Wash, we are proud supporters of the Sea Turtle Conservancy. As part of our commitment to protecting marine life and the environment, we’ve adopted a sea turtle named Kelpy! You can learn more about her and even track her journey through the Fahlo App using your phone. Simply download the app and click the button below from your phone to follow her adventure.

Meet Kelpy
Species: Loggerhead Sea Turtle
Biggest Threat: Habitat Loss
Kelpy is an adult female loggerhead sea turtle, released with a satellite transmitter from the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge in Florida. Her curved carapace measures 114.7 cm in length and 104.1 cm in width, making her one of the largest turtles we’ve ever tracked—just 3 cm shy of the record! She’s a seasoned turtle mom and was previously flipper-tagged by researchers from the University of Central Florida.
Sea Turtle Conservancy
For over 60 years, the Sea Turtle Conservancy has led the way in sea turtle conservation and recovery. Their ongoing efforts in research, education, and advocacy help ensure the survival of these ancient creatures and protect the marine and coastal ecosystems they call home.
